Fifth Electronic Warfare & Radar KSA 2017 is staging in Riyadh this December with a support from King Abdulaziz City for Science & Technology (KACST) and the Ministry of Defence Saudi Arabia.
Tangent Link's Saudi Arabian defence event portfolio has included an Electronic Warfare and Radar conference series since 2013 to promote the Kingdom’s development of a strong, capable and sustainable local Aerospace, Defence & Security industrial base. The principles of the Kingdoms’ Vision 2030 are at the very heart of these important events.
Taking place on 12- 13 December 2017 in Riyadh, Electronic Warfare & Radar KSA 2017 is the fifth defence-related event to be organised by Tangent Link in cooperation with KACST (King Abdulaziz City for Science & Technology). This benchmark event, with the support of the AOC’s Saudi Chapter, will include a Conference, Exhibition and new Thought-Leader Workshops.
Conference panel sessions will address the following topics:
· The Localisation of Technology
· Synchronisation between EW and Cyber Warfare
Conference Sessions will include EW & Radar Technical and Operations presentations from local and international technology and operational experts, including representatives from academic establishments, EW and Radar manufacturers as well as military end-users.
Particularly on stage will be a significant increase in KSA national EW & Radar expert speakers following considerable investment in local technology educational and training expertise and capability. Regional contributions will also be heard from Tunisia & Jordan. Western experts will contribute from UK, USA, France, Spain & Italy.
The Opening Ceremony always provides the grand overture to the conference with senior government officials presiding over Holy Quran and the Awards Ceremony in appreciation of all the sponsor and
supporters at the event.
Leading the Opening Ceremony will be His Highness Dr Turki Bin Saud Ben Mohammad Al Saud, President of KACST, General Abdulrahman be Saleh al Bunaian, Chief of Staff of the KSA Ministry of Defence; Dr Susan Robertson, International Region 1 Director of AOC UK and Dr Sultan Almorqi, Chairman of the Scientific Committee, KACST.
